Why You Should Hire a Professional to Maintain Your Roof!

Winter is fast approaching and the two times per year that we suggest you have a professional perform maintenance on your roof is October and November and May and June. Just before the snow and cold weather hits and just before the hot summers approach.

First there is Gutter Maintenance

1. Remove all leaves and debris
2. Hose & flush your gutters
3. Check for leaks. If leaks are present we will seal them and replace any gutters if needed.

Second there is roof maintenance.

Roof Maintenance
1. Remove and clean all debris from roof.
2. Inspect for any leaks
3. Inspect for any damage done by weather such as wind, rain, hail and lack of ventilation or "critter" damage from raccoons or squirrels.
4. Check for loose shingles and replace any damaged shingles.
5. Check all flashing to make sure there is no damage.
6. Check your chimney area.

Below are some pictures of what damage that raccoons and squirrels can do to your roof and eaves.
These pictures are compliments of Critter Control in Colorado Springs. If you should need some "critters" removed from your home contact them at 719-473-4663.

The Joke of the day.... "SHINGLES"

A man walked into a doctor's office and the receptionist asked him what he had.

He replied, "I got shingles."

She said, "Fill out this form and supply your name, address, medical insurance number. When you're done, please take a seat."

Fifteen minutes later a nurse's aide came out and asked him what he had. He said, "I got shingles."

So she took down his height, weight, and complete medical history, then said, "Change into this gown and wait in the examining room."

A half hour later a nurse came in and asked him what he had. He said, "I got shingles."

So she gave him a blood test , a blood pressure test, an electrocardiogram, and told him to wait for the doctor.

An hour later the doctor came in and asked him what he had. He said, "Shingles."

The doctor gave him a full-cavity examination, and then said, "I just checked you out thoroughly, and I can't find shingles anywhere."

The man replied, "They're outside in the truck. Where do you want them?"
